Trauma-in-care
Workshop

To enable our volunteers to gain more exposure on their teaching skills, we invited Limitless SG to conduct a workshop - Trauma-in-care, to enable our volunteers to understand youth-at-risks better and gain insights on how to better interact with them! 🙆‍♀️❤️

We hope our volunteers got a takeaway from this meaningful event and would be able to apply to their future sessions!:D

Conducted by speaker from Limitless SG, Mr Khoo Yi Feng

Through this workshop, our volunteers learnt to better identify the signs and symptoms  of those who are experiencing trauma. They learnt how to help and approach them whilst standing in their point of view.

Let's hear from our volunteers!

The workshop really showed us how trauma was prevalent within society and was a true concern even within out midst. Now, I better understand the youths' behaviors, and how to create an environment that is safe for everyone, to support them as they learn more about themselves.

Let's hear from our volunteers!

Attending the Trauma in care workshop has definitely broaden my knowledge and exposure to different types of trauma. In the process, I've also learnt how to better identify and treat someone that has experienced trauma. It was an eye opener for me and I'm glad that I had the chance to attend this workshop!
