NTU SeaLions

In collaboration with SportCares Singapore and Tasek Jurong, NTU SeaLions is our sports programme in which members get to interact with youth participants through the means of water sports, like swimming and sailing.

Sessions are held every Saturday from 9.30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Jurong West Swimming Complex for the first semester and at the National Sailing Centre for the second semester.

*Due to covid-19, this programme is tentatively suspended for AY 21/22.

Down the memory lane over the years:

During sessions, the participants are taught by professional coaches and engaged by our volunteers on how to swim in the pool and then sail along the coast confidently. Each half-lesson is crafted by the coaches to maximize the participant's learning where the other half-lesson is led by volunteers to play games and build their water confidence.

At the end of the program, each participant is awarded a SwimSafer and Singapore Sailing Federation certificate during a small celebration organised by RSP Youth in commemoration of their learning progress and achievements.
