ABOUT
Founded in 1985, the Welfare Services Club (WSC) is a non-academic constituent club in NTU which provides an umbrella of voluntary activities and social work to all students. Besides growing from strength to strength in membership, the WSC has also undergone incredible expansions in its activities to reach out to more service users every year. Currently, it runs 9 Regular Service Projects (RSPs) serving the Deaf, Elderly, Children of Low-income Families, Children with Chronic or Terminal Diseases, Intellectually Disabled, People with Mental Health Issues, Physically Challenged, Visually Handicapped and Youths-at-risk, which comprises volunteers engaging these service users weekly at various locations.
WSC also runs 5 Special Projects and 5 Supporting Committees. The Special Projects include Camp OutReach, Challenge ur Limits, Ignite Change, Overseas Volunteering Expedition and Volunteer Movement and they provide additional support to service users both locally and overseas. The Supporting Committees include Admin & Liaison, Finance, Growth & Opportunities!, Internal Relations and Publicity and Publications and they provide operational support to WSC. Volunteers engaged in Special Projects and Supporting Committees gain invaluable skills in entrepreneurship, events management, planning, coordination and many more.
Regular Service Project Youth (RSP Youth) was set up in 1996 to provide a platform for NTU students to befriend and journey alongside youth-at-risk from Singapore Boys’ Home under the Ministry of Social and Family Development.
Over the years, RSP (Youth) formed strategic partnerships with other social service agencies and statutory boards and expanded our service scope to include youth of diverse backgrounds at the community level.
Our motto is to be “A Friend, A Teacher, A Mentor” to all youths we serve.
Our mission is to empower and journey with youth from all walks of life with empathy, trust, and care. As we strive to inspire youth towards becoming better versions of themselves, we also hope to engage them effectively and meaningfully through their ups and downs in life.
Presently, RSP Youth partners consist of the Ministry of Social and Family Development, Boys’ Town Singapore, Sport Singapore, Singapore Children Society, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities, and Institute of Technical Education (College West).

EXCO
CLEMENT
Chairperson
Hi! I'm Clement, a Year 2 Chemistry student. One of my favourite things to do is to eat nice and interesting food. I have quite a sweet tooth and like desserts a lot. But if I had to give up either sweet or savoury food for the rest of my life, I would give up sweet food. Somehow, surviving on a diet of cakes and ice cream doesn't sound quite right
